Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny’s collaboration with adidas Originals continues. Following the recent launch of a new shoe called Forum PWR, this time the two sides have shifted their focus to the familiar Response CL new colorway.
A total of two color schemes are available, consisting of yellow/black/orange and cream/grey/earth. The overall construction is based on the original blueprint of the Response CL – the shoe was originally developed by the brand’s high-end branch line adidas Consortium, mainly based on the 2003 Response Cushion upper equipped with patented technologies such as adiPRENE and Formotion. Many details this time are related to Bad Bunny’s own preferences, such as the representative “El Ojo (eye)” element, and the “melting” effect created by adding wavy leather material on the upper of the vamp, which is different from the original Response CL. After stacking and interspersing multiple colors, the whole echoes the retro atmosphere emphasized by Response CL and the innate innovative thinking of the artist.
